Replacing One Tooth, Several, or All of Them
The surgical principle is the same in every case; what changes is how many implants carry the restoration and how the load is shared across the jaw.
Single Tooth Implant with Zirconia Crown
One implant, one crown, and nothing done to the healthy teeth on either side — which is the main advantage over a conventional bridge. The zirconia crown is shade-matched to your own teeth and holds that colour without a metal line at the gum.
Multi-Tooth Implant Bridges
Several missing teeth in a row do not need an implant each. Two or more implants carry a fixed bridge across the gap, which keeps the cost and the surgery proportionate to the result.
Full Arch Digital Restorations
A complete upper or lower arch supported on a small number of strategically placed implants, planned digitally from the CBCT scan. Fixed in place — it does not come out, and it does not move while you eat.
Why Choose Dr Naga's White Dental Clinic
Implant work is unforgiving of shortcuts. These are the four things we will not compromise on.
Surgical Precision
Three of our nine specialists are implantologists. Placement angle, depth and torque are planned before the day rather than judged in the chair.
3D Bone Evaluation
Every case starts with 3D imaging of the jaw, so we know the bone volume and where the nerve and sinus sit before we plan anything. This is also what tells us honestly whether you need grafting first.
Hygienic Operatory
Implant placement is a surgical procedure and is treated as one — a dedicated operatory, autoclaved instrumentation and a documented sterilisation protocol.
Transparent Treatment Planning
You get the stages, the timeline and the full itemised cost in writing before the first appointment. If a case needs a graft or a sinus lift, you hear it then, not halfway through.
Dental Implant FAQ
Are dental implants permanent solutions for missing teeth?
The implant itself is designed to be permanent. Titanium fuses with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration, and once that is complete the implant is held the way a natural root is. Long-term studies put survival at well above 90 per cent at ten years. The crown on top is a separate component and is the part that eventually wears — a zirconia crown typically lasts 15 years or more and can be replaced without touching the implant underneath. What determines the outcome more than anything else is gum health: implants do not decay, but the tissue and bone around them can be lost to infection if they are not cleaned and reviewed.
Is dental implant surgery painful?
The placement itself is not painful. It is done under local anaesthetic, the same as a filling or an extraction, and most patients are surprised at how uneventful the appointment is — the jawbone has very few pain receptors. Afterwards you can expect some soreness and swelling for two to three days, which ordinary painkillers handle. Most people describe it as easier than the extraction that made the implant necessary in the first place.
What is the recovery time after getting a dental implant?
Day-to-day recovery is quick: most patients are back at work the next day and eating comfortably on soft foods within a few days, with swelling settling inside a week. The longer timeline is biological healing — the implant needs roughly three to six months to fuse with the bone before the permanent crown can be loaded, depending on the site and your bone quality. You are not without a tooth during that period; where the gap is visible we fit a temporary restoration.
What is the cost of dental implants in Anna Nagar West, Chennai?
The cost depends on how many implants are needed, the implant system used, the crown material, and whether the site needs bone grafting or a sinus lift first. A single-tooth implant with a zirconia crown is a different proposition from a full-arch restoration, and quoting a figure before seeing the 3D scan would be a guess. After the consultation and CBCT you get an itemised written plan covering the implant, the abutment, the crown and any preparatory work, along with the instalment options. Am I a candidate for dental implants if I have bone loss?
Very often yes. Bone loss is common after a tooth has been missing for a while — the jaw resorbs where it is no longer loaded — and it rules out immediate placement rather than implants altogether. Bone grafting or a sinus lift can rebuild enough volume to place an implant safely, usually a few months ahead of the implant itself. The 3D scan is what settles it: it measures exactly how much bone you have and where. If we genuinely cannot make an implant work in your case, we will tell you and go through the alternatives instead.
